CCNZ CONFERENCE 2022 – August 4th-5th

As a major associate of Civil Contractors New Zealand, TLC Insurance is heading off to the CCNZ Conference in Christchurch this August.

At TLC Insurance, we see sponsorship as a great way to support the industries that support us, with tradeshows and conferences giving us the opportunity to profile the key benefits of our policies and promote enquiry with brokers.  In August, we’ll be at the CCNZ doing exactly that!  If you want to be prepared for enquiry when it comes your way, you can ask us questions regarding cover for Civil Contractors at any time.  We are only a phone call away!

If you’re like us - and planning on attending the conference - then we would love to see you at our trade stand for a chat about what TLC Insurance offers the civil construction sector with our turbo Mobile Plant policy. We will have a competition running with some cool giveaways and prizes!

CLAIMS SATISFACTION SURVEY

Claims is the backbone of what we do at TLC Insurance and to continue to maintain a high level of service, we have created a quick survey that will be sent out upon closure of a claim (excluding windscreen claims). The survey is aimed to determine if we are upholding our gold claims standard, to assist in product development, and to make sure brokers are satisfied with the level of service received from the friendly and efficient claims team.

Here at TLC Insurance, we are always looking for ways to improve our service and make sure we are meeting the expectations of our brokers and your clients. We appreciate all feedback, and we will take it all on board. Your responses can be anonymous, or you can enter your details. Entering your details provides us with the opportunity to thank you for any feedback and have further discussions on your responses.

MATARIKI

This Friday is a day to celebrate Matariki, the Māori New Year, and herald a time of remembrance, joy and peace. The New Year is marked by a cluster of stars called Matariki which appear in the early morning sky in New Zealand during the winter months. The celebration is a time for:

  • Remembrance – Honouring those we have lost since the last rising of Matariki
  • Celebrating the present – gathering together to give thanks for what we have
  • Looking to the future – looking forward to the promise of a New Year
Our team will be celebrating Matariki by connecting with their whanau and friends, remembering loved ones who are no longer with us, giving thank for the year that has passed (despite the upheaval of Covid-19, there have been many positives) and embracing our wishes for the year to come. We hope you enjoy celebrating Matariki with your friends and whānau too.

The below whakatauki (proverb) speaks to the Māori New Year as a time to celebrate together, remember our loved ones who have left us and be grateful for all that we have in our lives.
Matariki hunga nui
Matariki ahunga nui
Matariki manako nui
Mānawatia a Matariki

Until next time, we hope that you have a happy and safe long weekend, particularly if you are travelling on the roads.

Kind Regards

Andrew Reid
