Winter Update

Hasn’t it been an amazing month of sport with the most successful Olympics of all times for NZ behind us, the Para Olympics up next, and then there’s provincial rugby about to get underway.

RUGBY SPONSORSHIP

Speaking of rugby, for the first time in TLC Insurance’s history, we’ve taken on primary naming rights and so we’ll be cheering on “our team” the TLC Insurance King Country Rams as they look to bring home the Bunnings Warehouse Heartland Championship title. Provincial rugby has long been in our veins at TLC Insurance, with Keith Penny playing for Waikato in the 1980s (click here for a photo of KP in action) and TLC Insurance supporting the Tasman Makos development team for the past few seasons. Now with our first foray as a naming rights sponsor, we are excited by the opportunity to sponsor a province that’s home to many of our clients, and to see our name emblazoned on jerseys that will travel deep into heartland New Zealand. Pre-season fixtures are underway for the TLC Insurance Rams, with the championship campaign due to kick off against Poverty Bay in Gisborne on 21 August – we’ll be there in the stands as much as we can be this year, and know that the boys will do the TLC Insurance and King Country jersey proud! Go the Rams!!

INDUSTRY SPONSORSHIP

Our sponsorship is not limited to the rugby field this year, with a recent announcement that we have become a major associate of CCNZ, the national association for Civil Contractors in New Zealand. We are pleased and proud to support an organisation that represents 600 providers, many of whom are clients of ours. It’s also a privilege to join many other well known companies in support of this critical industry sector. View Partner Sponsors

This CCNZ sponsorship sits alongside our longstanding sponsorship of FICA, the Forestry Industry Contractors Association.

TLC Insurance has been a key sponsor of FICA for over a decade, illustrating our firm belief in supporting those who support us and staying close to the insights that key industry reps can give us regarding what’s important to their membership base.

CLAIMS CLIENT FEEDBACK

It’s been a long-term priority at TLC Insurance to focus on agility at claims time as a key point of difference for brokers and clients. As part of our continuous improvement objectives, we’ve initiated a feedback loop that asks clients to comment on their claims experience.
